GiN hit the ground running at PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia, where the convention’s crowds enjoyed tabletop gaming and standout panels. From Gloomhaven creator Isaac Childres’ inspiring keynote to packed exhibitor halls and welcoming community spaces, the show was already firing on all cylinders right from the start.
GiN reporter Colin Flanigan traveled to Lancaster, Pennsylvania to attend TravellerCon/USA, a boutique convention devoted to the classic sci-fi tabletop RPG Traveller. Fans gathered for a weekend of games, panels and good old fashioned spacefaring camaraderie.

Blerdcon 2025 once again topped its nearly equally amazing predecessors, with the convention spanning across three hotels with plenty of cosplay, seminars, vendors, entertainment, food and fun over three wonderful days.
Like always, the Blerdcon 2025 convention was amazingly fun this year. The show was dubbed Thrilla this time to help celebrate all things horror, and people responded with some amazing costumes, some of which were downright frightening while others were more playful and fun. Candyman star and prolific video game voice actor Tony Todd sadly passed away before he could attend Blerdcon 2025. The convention hosted a memorial showing of his most popular film to honor his many achievements.
