Michael Blaker Movie Monday Column Graphic

Michael Blaker’s Movie Monday Featuring Jingle All the Way

Hey all, I’m back with a very seasonally appropriate film from 1996 for this week’s Movie Monday. It’s Jingle All the Way.

Plot: The plot of this awesome film revolves around a pair of fathers trying to grab the very popular Turbo Man action figure being sold at the last minute before Christmas. It’s a very enjoyable movie, and it’s definitely livened up by the cast.

Casting: The stars of this film are Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sinbad, and they do an amazing job making the movie really fun. I was also surprised to see Daniel Riordan, who famously voiced Alduin in Skyrim, as part of the cast.

Cinematography: The special effects are really well done and are more than enough for a film that really doesn’t call for elaborate special effects.

Music: The music is fitting for the film. It’s a Christmas adventure after all.

Overall: This is a Christmas movie that I really enjoyed, especially when I was younger. Nowadays, it’s still a fun Christmas film for me that really mocks the shopping rush.

For those who like: Comedies, Christmas films, an excellent cast, and a fun plot.

Not for those who don’t like: Any of the above.
